Recently, I bought 7Gear Falcon tankbag from riding gear shop named Dab Hobbiesshop Jogja. It cost IDR 325000. This bag can be functioned as tankbag, slingbag, or backpack. The size is adequate to keep personal belongings such as gadget, digital camera, wallet, notes, and many more (as long as enough). It is suitable for commuting riders who needs to keep their own belongings without any difficult. One more, rain cover is also available in each purchase of tankbag.

We will find how well it works. The first attempt, I use my friend’s Suzuki Bandit GSF400. It’s perfectly mounted on the fuel tank. Still looks proportional for daily use.

Next attempt, I use it on my own Yamaha SX-225 New Scorpio Z. I need to adaptate with the fuel tank since there are airscoop on each side. But it’s not a big matter when I found how to put it properly. I still can control my bike easily without getting distracted with it size.

That’s all of my “at a glance” review about this product. Hopefully, it can be your reference to buy right gear for right purpose 😉

Kantai Collection Itansha Project

Four months after bought this Yamaha SX-225, I have been thinking to build an Itansha because it’s very potential as trendsetter in Indonesia eventhough not famous as we think. Not all Indonesian people know and like this style since they think it looks childlish and weird. Most of them prefer the another one such as Thailand Style, Touring Style, etc. But no problem, uncommon style makes it eye-catching and out-of-the-box. Remember, ” The fewer, the better “. We fight any mainstream taste to open their mind 😉

I named her Mutsu-chan

I named her Mutsu-chan

Back to the main talk, my project has been started since March. The first step I choose the right character which suitable. Then, I give my choice to the Mutsu from Kantai Collection by Kadokawa Games. The game which inspired by Imperial Japanese Navy  in World War 2 is getting famous since last year. It means still few itasha-lovers  gonna use it. I think Mutsu also suitable for sport-bike since she is a battleship. Mutsu also the member of Big Seven together with her sister Nagato , the biggest battleship group before Washington Naval Treaty . My bike not the strongest bike, but still strong enough for any roles of riding. It’s same with Nagato-class battleship after presence of Yamato-class.

I tell you something , I love  short-hair girl. It looks clean and simple for me. Beside of that, bit chubby also my favorite.

Work in progress…

To make it happen, I ask for help to my friend. He can design it for me, of course it’s not free. Any job needs payback for their service, even the art so. Anyway, sticker printing also needs money. Eventhough in May the design was done, still need few weeks to fix it . First week in Juny, I started to install it on my bike. It’s needs about less than 6 hours to complete it since it’s not full body ( thanks, bro!) . Now you can see it…

We did it! Mutsu-chan is exist now! Not only her name

How about the price I paid? It could be cheap or expensive depends on material, design, and service you wish. I can’t tell it more detail since many people can’t respect arts when talking about money. Well then, see you on road, brother!

Ambassador Cafe, All You Can Do ‘Bout Japan

Actually, I don’t always do hangout in cafe. But when I do, the place must be interesting. Fortunately, I found this place when riding with my friends few days ago. It’s located on Jl. Bulungan No. 16 , South Jakarta.

This place is called Ambassador Cafe. The name seems normal as another cafe, but it has their own characteristic. Everything inside of this cafe related to Japanese culture. When you looking around, you will find so many Japanese manga on bookshelf. You can read it when you want to relax.

P1110018P1110013
The menu which offered may same as another, but still identical with Japanese culture as their style. I bought onigiri (rice ball) and ice coffee. For some people, it will be expensive since you have to pay at least 50.000 IDR . I’m still believing that ” Price Never Lies ” still exist until today. I have been tried so many onigiri in various places, but this is very delicious! Probably almost same as Papaya Supermarket on Melawai. The onigiri contains konbu (seaweed) and katsuobushi (shaved bonito). Do you still prefer Western-style? They still have Club Sandwich to be eaten!

P1110015
Not only for hang out, Ambassador Cafe also open Japanese Language and Manga Course. The class held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (7 PM -9 PM). In weekend, held every Saturday and Sunday (10 AM – 12 PM). For manga class, the tutor come from Japan. Just call 021-2930-6260 for detail.

Sirion Time Battle , Standar Sudah Mumpuni!
